Surya to Launch Country Living Collection at High Point

NEW YORK–Hearst Brand Development, a division of Hearst Corp., has teamed up with Surya Rugs to develop a line of area rugs inspired by the pages of Country Living magazine. To launch at this month’s High Point Market, Oct. 17 to 22, at Surya’s Showplace showroom #3233, the Country Living collection will initially include more than 50 styles, including braids, jutes, hooked wool patterns, stripes and outdoor.
Targeting today’s casual lifestyle, the line will have patterns inspired by vintage quilts, classic farmhouse stripes and braids.
The collection, targeting rug and home decor specialty stores, catalogs and Web sites, will range in price from $199 to $449.
“The Country Living brand partnership offers us a tremendous opportunity to expand the Surya product assortment,” said Satya Tiwari, Surya president. “The brand resonates with a large audience and offers a range of aesthetic for inspiration.”
