Stewart Piece Lands Guest Spot on "Today"

NEW YORK-- A Martha Stewart rug played a co-starring role on "Today" recently when Sarah Humphreys, Blueprint magazine's editor in chief, used the home guru's Faux Bois rug as the foundation for a "gender-neutral" bedroom. The rug is from Stewart's collection at Safavieh.
The bedroom in question was created on the street outside NBC's studio in New York City. Products for the "room" were selected due to their ability to appeal to both sexes, creating a comfortable, decorative compromise. Humphreys said the rug was chic and woodsy, but not overpowering.
Faux Bois is a silk and wool Tibetan rug. Suggested retail for a 6-by-9 is $1,895.
