PORT WASHINGTON, N.Y.–Due to its success with its eco-friendly organic jute and hemp Bohemia collection, Safavieh will launch a rug collection constructed of sisal—a new material for the company. Called the Natural Collection, it will include flat sisal weaves as well as two patterned jute boucle weaves that will debut at the High Point Market later this week.
Safavieh will also expand its Bohemia Collection at the market with traditional Oushak-inspired designs coarsely woven of jute and hemp.
“These collections represent some of our best values, and offer a lower-cost alternative to European-woven natural fiber rugs,” said Arash Yaraghi, principal.
Both Natural and Bohemian rugs retail at $600 for a 6-by-9 size.
