Nothing completes a room like a well-designed rug, and the choices consumers have nowadays are endless, from design to price point. Twice a year the industry meets in Atlanta to see the latest additions at AmericasMart, and the floors of flooring can seem overwhelming with the amount of newness. But the editors at HFN have selected some of the best new products from the Atlanta International Area Rug Market this past July, honoring them with the HFN Awards of Excellence, in ten categories.

Outdoor Rugs: Kaleen
The Morning Glory design, one of 12 new items added to the Home & Porch collection in Kaleen’s Paula Deen line, pairs a rich chocolate background with soft hues. Handmade in China of polypropylene, the Home & Porch line currently ranks as the number one collection for the company. kaleen.com

Handtufted Rugs: Surya
Nothing timid happening here: Surya’s new Forum collection merges bright and bold colors with dramatic designs for those contemporary interiors that need a wow factor on the floor. The #FM-7002 style here offers a linear look that will freshen up any decor. Handknotted Rugs: Jaipur
Simple, yet striking, this new style from Jaipur is plush, thick and inviting—just the design to create a tranquil decor. One of the newest accent rugs to come from Loloi, #BN-13 brings animal instinct to the floor.
