DALTON, Ga.–Sphinx by Oriental Weavers will host a “Kindle Your Fire” party during the Atlanta International Area Rug Market on Thursday, January 12, 2012, from 4-7 p.m. To be held in the company’s newly renovated showroom, space #3-A-2 in AmericasMart's Building 1, Sphinx will give away a new Kindle Fire tablet every 30 minutes during the party. In addition, hor d’oeuvres and drinks will have a “fiery” theme.

The past year “has been a great [one] for our company and the industry,” said Michael Riley, president, Oriental Weavers USA. “We are excited about the positive momentum we see in the area rug business and we wanted to start 2012 off with an event to share our enthusiasm with our customers and industry partners.”

Sphinx will introduce eight new collections of Axminster, machine-woven, handcrafted and indoor/outdoor products at market, as well as showcase several new “Made in the USA” area rug collections and additions to its custom rug and patterned broadloom programs.
