ATLANTA–Attendees to the International Area Rug Market, Jan. 7 to 10, will be able to see new products and new showrooms and expansions, as well as several exclusive events. On Thursday, Jan. 7, the Museum of Introductions, which showcases new products, opens at 9 a.m. and later that day, beginning at 4 p.m., the market will have an exhibitor open house reception.
Then on Saturday, Jan. 9, Acrobatique: The 2010 America’s Magnificent Carpets Awards takes place in the Marriott Atlanta Marquis Atrium Ballroom at 6 p.m. The event celebrates design achievement in the industry and will include a high-energy performance by The Peking Acrobats.
