CHICAGO-- Minasian Rug Co. has introduced Rugs 911, a 24-hour, 7-days-a-week rug care hotline.
The goal of the hotline is to provide convenient, expert advise regarding how to treat a spill on your rug immediately to avoid staining. The company said it decided to add a rug emergency hotline to its current business because it felt it was necessary for people to get fast, professional help to protect their rugs. Minasian already operated a rug gallery, as well as hand cleaning, restoration and repair services.
"We take tremendous pride in providing individual service to our customers for the lifetime of their rug," said Armen Minasian, president of the company. "Our goal is to become our clients' personal rug care valets in a sense, which is what Rugs 911 will do."
Armen and brother Carnig Minasian grew up cleaning rugs for their father's store and said their expertise will be extended to anyone who calls, regardless of where she has purchased her rug.
