DALLAS–A memorial fund has been established to honor Jeanne Carroll, former director of marketing and advertising for Feizy Rugs, and her daughter Janice Leigh Hill, the company has announced.
Carroll and her daughter were killed Nov. 11 in an alleged murder-suicide by Janice Leigh Hill’s estranged husband. The family set up the fund in honor of the mother and daughter at Wells Fargo Bank under the name Memorial in Celebration of Jeanne and Janice Carroll Fund.
Proceeds of the fund will be distributed to children who are currently under protective custody and victims of domestic violence, and will be used to help the family cover expenses, Feizy said.
