Grey Christie has been named regional vice president for the north region for Kaleen Rugs, responsible for managing the company’s sales team in 14 states. Reporting to Joe Barkley, executive vice president, Christie will be based out of Kaleen’s new facility in Dalton, Ga. The company moved into the new facility in November.

With almost 20 years experience in the rug industry, Christie was most recently national accounts manager at Kaleen, a post he had held since 2009.

“Grey’s attitude and work ethic are contagious,” said Barkley. “He has gained respect in the industry for being extremely knowledgeable and experienced in all aspects of sales.”

Kaleen’s new facility has more than 100,000 square feet of warehousing—20,000 more than its previous location—plus the new space has much higher ceilings, Barkley said.
