Feizy’s Jeanne Carroll Dies

DALLAS–Jeanne Carroll, director of advertising and marketing for Feizy Rugs since 1995, died yesterday, according to a statement from the company. Services have not been announced.
During her tenure, she was instrumental in the creation of Feizy’s award-winning Feizy Home Catalogue and in securing Feizy’s four-time recognition by the Accessories Resource Team (ART) as Area Rug Manufacturer of the Year, said Feizy in the statement.
The company described Carroll as hands-on, from the beginning to the end of each project. “She was admired and respected by her peers and colleagues as a consummate professional,” said the statement. “Her extensive product knowledge and professional drive made her an indispensable resource not only to the Feizy Rugs family, but also within the area rug industry.”
Carroll, who was 52, was born in Dallas, where she continued to live and work for many years in advertising. She is survived by her mother, Elizabeth Heuss; husband, John Wayne Carroll; a daughter, Jennifer Carroll Fratar; a son, John Wayne Carroll II; and her grandson, Zane Bandfield. She also leaves behind sister Bobbie Taylor and brothers John, David and Danny Heuss and their respective families.
