HAGERSTOWN, Md.–A new hand-knotted line—as well as a new brand for the North American market—is debuting this week at Las Vegas Market from Azra Home Furnishings.
Azra has crafted high-end, hand-knotted rugs in Pakistan for more than 40 years and already has an established retailer base in Europe and South America. Now it hopes to bring its line to the U.S. with the initial launch of 50 rug styles, in traditional, transitional and contemporary designs, and retailing from approximately $3,000 to $6,000. It is showing in Building C, #599-79.
The company has hired a national sales force, but added that it would be interested to talk to sales reps for additional territory opportunities. The company will be exhibiting at High Point as well.
