NEW YORK–Artistic Tile is set to open another retail showroom in New York this summer.
The 3,500-square-foot showroom will be located in Manhasset, on Long Island’s North Shore.
The opening comes quickly on the heels of the opening of Artistic’s flagship retail showroom, which opened in Manhattan in August 2007. The company said it chose the new location both for the caliber of its retail businesses and the surrounding affluent communities.
As for the Manhattan location, the design for the new showroom is the collaboration of Nancy Epstein, Artistic Tile’s founder and chief executive officer, and architect Stephen Alastair Wanta.
“We want our customers to feel relaxed and unhurried when they are working with us,” Epstein said. “The right setting and visual inspiration is vital in making tile shopping a pleasurable experience.”
As such, the Manhasset showroom will echo its city sister with a similar “flow” layout, whereby paths naturally draw clients calmly from one area to another, eliminating what the company called the “overpoweringly busy” feel of a typical tile showroom.
