NEW YORK–Harlem-based designer Roderick Shade will discuss the Oriental rug as design inspiration in 7 W New York’s upcoming Designer Day on Monday, September 21, at 11:30 am, during the New York International Carpet Show.
Called Build Your Project from the Ground Up: The Decorative and Oriental Rug as Design Inspiration, Shade will lead the session, which will include interior designers and tastemakers Alexa Hampton and Christopher Coleman and carpet expert Neslihan Christobel Jevremovic. Lunch will follow the presentation.
This will be the first time the carpet show, scheduled for September 20 to 22, will be held at 7 W New York.
