Powell Company to Debut Bombay Rugs at Las Vegas Market
LAS VEGAS-Powell Company's rug division will unveil 10 designs in its Tapes collection, along with matching chenille accent pillows and a coordinating pouf under the Bombay Company brand at Las Vegas Market. It shows in Building A, A-753.
The introductions for the Tapes collection, which uses the French word for tapestry, includes transitional flatwoven designs using space-dyed chenille for added texture. They also have a latex primary packing with a soft cotton backing finish, allowing the rug to lay flat on the floor without an additional underlay pad. The collection is durable, does not shed and is easy to maintain.
Woven and handcrafted in India, all rugs, pillow and poufs will be in stock by mid March 2014. The 21-inch-square decorative pillows are made with the same chenille fabric as the rugs and have a suede fabric backing.
"I am thrilled that this designer-coordinated collection is coming to market," said Wil Hollands, president of Hermes Otto International, owner of The Bombay Company brand. "It makes decorating easy and gives any room an instant update. This full collection of matching rug, pillows and poufs allows the furniture retailer to create a great display to enhance any upholstery group in their store, while offering their customer a great brand and a complete one-stop shopping experience."
