DALLAS–Omni Sales and Marketing has completed its acquisition of L.L. Wright Associates, the Kansas City-based manufacturers representative company, which it began in April. Omni has a showroom in the DMC’s World Trade Center that is nearly 15,000 square feet, and which will now show many of L.L. Wright’s current and newly added lines at this month’s Dallas Total Home & Gift Market, June 20-26.
“The merging of the two companies completes the joining together of two longstanding professional marketing and sales organizations with over 70 years of combined experience,” said Jim Berk, Omni’s president. “Omni’s Dallas Market Center showroom anchors the team that serves the strongest economic market in the U.S. today.”
Larry Wright, the former president of L.L. Wright Associates and now president of the newly formed Omni division added, “By joining forces with Omni, L.L. Wright Associates…brings added value to both the customers and lines we represent…We don’t expect much to change from a customer service perspective other than increased opportunity for all.”
Berk added, “This merger will allow many more retailers and designers to touch and feel the various lines we represent by visiting the showroom during market or any time they wish. The showroom is open every day the DMC is open, not just during scheduled Markets. Equally as important, we can also now better service our showroom customers to the north with field sales representative follow-up and good old fashion customer service.”
