NEW YORK-Nourison unveiled its new Joseph Abboud collection to the New York market this week, with a party in its new showroom at 295 Fifth Avenue. Executives from both companies — including Joseph Abboud’s Creative Director Bernardo Rojo and Nourison Principal Alex Peykar — were on hand to celebrate the launch.
“Joseph Abboud represents a timeless elegance, refinement, quality and classic style, which are also attributes that define the Nourison brand,” said Peykar. “I am confident that their brand recognition and appeal, coupled with our expertise in rug technology, manufacturing and distribution will lead to a successful program that will be beneficial to both companies.”

The collection will be seen at High Point Market, in Nourison’s new showroom in the International Home Furnishings Center, IH101 InterHall.
The collection includes powerloom woven and handmade rugs in a full range of sizes and styles. Divided among five groups, the line consists of: Chicago, handmade of cotton chenille and cowhide; Modelo, which has high/low texture; Majestic, powerloomed designs modernizing the classic Joseph Abboud paisley arrangement; Opus, which features abrash patterns in transitional dual-tone designs; and Monterey, a modern, handtufted line.
