SADDLE BROOK, N.J.–Nourison has donated a special custom carpet it produced for the entrance of the Architectural Digest Home Design Show to the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club. The carpet will be on display starting tomorrow through March 23 at Pier 54 in New York.
Inspired by tattoo art, the carpet has a retail value of $18,000 and includes ombre effects and deep handcarving. It measures 22 by 55 feet and was designed and developed by Linda Jacobs and the rest of the Nourison design team. It was manufactured on Nourison’s state-of-the-art, 16-color Axminister looms with ultra-plush, 3-ply construction of 80 percent premium wool and 20 percent nylon.
“We are pleased that our carpet will be put to good use after the ADHD Show at Kips Bay Boys and Girls Club,” said Alex Peykar, principal of Nourison. “The quality is similar to what we create for 5-star hotels and other discerning institutions.”
Nourison will be exhibiting in booth #419 at the Architectural Digest Home Design Show.
