NEW YORK–The ninth annual New York International Carpet Show will take place next month, Oct. 6-8, and will include special events as well as a slew of new exhibitors. Held during Metro Market Week, the handwoven carpet show will be located at the Metropolitan Pavilion on West 18th Street here.

On Sunday, Oct. 6, from 6-8 p.m., first-time NYICS exhibitor Kyle & Kath/Jan Kath Design invite attendees to its reception in its showroom at 555 West 25th Street, 2nd Floor, New York. On the following day, Monday, Oct. 7, starting at 6 p.m., French Accents will again host a market party in its showroom at 36 East 31st Street. In addition, Goodweave will sponsor the NYICS 2013 totebags for the fourth consecutive year.
With more than 40 exhibitors this year, this edition of the NYICS includes 16 first-time exhibitors: Amer Rugs, Antique Rug Connection, Bespoke Rugs, Jan Kath Design/Kyle & Kath, Knots Rugs, Knot & Company, Magdalena York Collection, Modern Tribal Arts, Neman International, Nasiri, NOA Living, Process Unlimited Rugs, Rug & Kilim, Sorelle, Shalom Brothers and Tuscany Olive Wood Floors.
