New Loloi Collection to Benefit Dallas's Habitat for Humanity
DALLAS-Loloi Rugs has partnered with Dallas Area Habitat for Humanity, with Loloi planning to donate a percentage of all proceeds of its new Wonder collection to the organization. Loloi expects to donate more than $10,000 by the end of the collection's life cycle.
"Whether it's through design or by a donation, Loloi Rugs is committed to improving our communities in any way we can," said Cyrus Loloi, principal of Loloi Rugs. "Habitat for Humanity shares our vision of a better world, and we are thrilled to be able to partner with them to bring affordable homes to deserving and hardworking members of our community."
Handwoven in India of 100 percent cotton, the Wonder collection will debut this month at High Point Market. It comes in eight color combinations: Hibiscus, Denim, Raven, Pebble, Maize, Foliage, Sand and Emerald. Four sizes--2.3-by-3.9, 3.6-by-5.6, 5-by-7.6 and 7.6-by-9.6--are available.
"We are thankful to partners like Loloi who support our efforts to revitalize and stabilize entire communities by giving hardworking low-income families a quality place to call home," said Bill Hall, CEO of Dallas Area Habitat for Humanity. "We like to think that their generosity and our support provide a hand up to deserving families who dream of owning and decorating their own homes."
Loloi added, "Knowing that our rugs are serving a deeper purpose than simply beautifying a home is gratifying. We hope our consumers will enjoy the dual benefits that come from owning one of these handcrafted pieces, too."
