New and Expanded Showrooms to Debut in Atlanta

       

       

ATLANTA–AmericasMart reports “robust leasing activity” by both new and existing exhibitors for The Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market and The Atlanta International Area Rug Market next January.

First-time exhibitors are signing permanent leases, while several other existing tenants are increasing their showroom space.

First time exhibitors include cookware maker Calphalon; Stein World, the Tennessee-based purveyor of home furnishings and accents; Artisan House, creator of handmade freestanding sculptures and wall art; Home Accents Alliance, seller of home furniture and home accents; Kenian Imports, importer of bamboo/rattan furniture; Prestige Identity, a multi-line rep group that features imported European home and office accessories; and Light & Living, a Netherlands-based supplier of lighting and home decor.

Vendors that have relocated within AmericasMart include Four Hands, the Texas-based manufacturer of home furnishings and home accents, which is moving its flagship showroom to a 12,000-square-foot space in Building 1. Mr. Brown, a mainstay of the HD Home Temporary Collection, secured a permanent showroom on Floor 9 of Building 1. Chehoma, a Belgian maker of home accents and embellishments, also acquired a permanent showroom on Floor 9 of Building 1. Rug maker Surya will move to Building 1, Floor 11. Napa Home & Garden, manufacturer of decorative ceramics, lightweight planters and decorative accessories, will relocate and expand to more than 7,500 square feet on Floor 12 of Building 2. Art Addiction, creators of wall art, relocates and expands to a new showroom on Floor 10 of Building 1. Karen Alweil Studio, a multi-rep company whose products include top-of-the-table art, furniture, bath products and home décor, moves from a temporary exhibit to its own permanent showroom on Floor 10 of Building 1.

Lighting company Currey & Company will nearly double the size of its Building 1, Floor 14 showroom. Alexander Terry Associates, Inc., a multi-line rep company, will have a new and expanded showroom on Floor 10 of Building 1. Area rug maker Kaleen doubled its showroom space to 6,000 square feet on Floor 3 of Building 1. Regency International, which offers trim-a-tree and floral merchandise, will expand its showroom on Floor 17 of Building 1. Cookware and bakeware manufacturer Le Creuset will expand to a 1,400- square-foot showroom on Floor 8 of Building 2 WestWing. Aesthetic Movement, purveyor of home accessories, tabletop items, throw pillows and personal care items, has expanded its showroom on Floor 10 of Building 1.
