SOMERSET, N.J.–Kas Rugs will unveil more than 300 new rug designs at the Atlanta International Area Rug Market this week, as well as Las Vegas Market later this month. Among the introductions will be flatweaves, including wool dhurries that are double-sided printed, with cut-pile motifs and with ikat designs, and handpainted dhurries. In addition, dhurries made of chenille and jute fiber are new for the company and will also bow at the markets.

Kas started out as an importer of wool dhurries more than 30 years ago.

“We have some exclusive qualities that we are excited to show and want to let our customers know how committed we are to this category,” said Hari Tummala, vice president of product development.

In addition, Kas will also have introductions in naturals, such as jute and hemp, and shags and tufted.

 In Atlanta, Kas shows in 4-D-2 in AmericasMart, while it will  have a new showroom at Las Vegas Market, space B-175, right off the first floor lobby.
