NORCROSS, Ga.-Design icon Raymond Waites is bringing his bold touch to Jaipur this High Point Market, launching an initial line of three rug collections.
To celebrate the new license, the company will host a party on Sunday, April 3, in its Showplace showroom, #3415, from 4 to 6 p.m., with Waites as the guest of honor. Drinks, hors d'oeuvres and unique giveaway items will be a part of the event.
"We're very excited to see Raymond's unique creative vision come to life in this new collection. The breadth of designs and constructions are incredibly diverse and we know that retailers will find something for every taste within the range," said Asha Chaudhary, president.
In both hand-tufted and hand-knotted qualities, the collection will offer more than 30 designs. A 5-by-8 in a wool and viscose construction will retail for $599, a handknotted wool Tibetan weave for $2,599 and a handknotted wool one for $2,699.
"Raymond has a tremendous following and it is an amazing opportunity to offer these products in area rugs with such a vast assortment covering several key price points," said Josh Roberts, vice president, sales and marketing. "The designs and colors are stunning and they add tremendous range to our overall portfolio. We see this as a long-term strategic partnership and we will be aggressively adding to this segment."
