DALLAS—Feizy Rugs will celebrate the decade in which the company was founded with a “Feizadelic” celebration at High Point Market, which starts on Saturday. Feizy’s 1970s-themed party will take place on Sunday, April 21, from 5-9 p.m. in the company’s Market Square showroom and the Market Square Courtyard.
From 5-7 p.m. in the showroom, Groove Train will play music from the ’70s for market attendees. The party will move outside to the Market Square Courtyard with continued live music from 7-9 p.m., and will be co-hosted by International Market Centers.
“We are thrilled to mark our ruby anniversary and hope that our guests will have as much fun at this party as we have had during our 40 years in business,” said John Feizy, founder and CEO.
Guests in the Feizy Rugs showroom will be able to have their pictures taken in disco “rags,” partake of 1970s inspired cocktails, enjoy live music and nosh on hors d’oeuvres. A Twister contest will be held and the winner will take home an iPad Mini. The company will also introduce new collections, offer incentives and give away party favors.
Once the party moves outside under the courtyard tent, guests can enter a dance contest for a chance to win an iPad Mini, play nostalgic board games or just enjoy the atmosphere. Decor under the tent will feature Feizy Rugs and there will be more food, drinks and even some 1970s-era board games.
