ART Announces Dallas ART Card Participants and Market Events

       

       

CHARLOTTE, N.C.–Accessories Resource Team, the association for the decorative accessory segment of the home furnishings industry, has announced the 16 vendors participating in the organization’s ART card program during the Dallas Total Home and Gift Market, which starts today. In addition, ART will host various events during market, including a mini-seminar series.

The ART card program allows ART members to take advantage of exclusive market specials from participating vendors when they place an order and present their ART card. The vendors participating in Dallas are: Currey & Co. (WTC, Suite 10008), Dale Tiffany (WTC, Suite 309), Feizy Rugs (WTC, Suites 102, 104), Fine Art Lamps (Trade Mart, Suite 4080), Flambeau Lighting (WTC, Suite 10014), Foreside Home & Garden (WTC, Suite 236), GuildMaster (WTC, Suites 504/506), IMAX (WTC, Suite 6250), Loloi Rugs (WTC, Suite 500), Murray Feiss (TM, Suite 4010), Paragon Picture (WTC, Suite 500), Propac Images (WTC, Suite 500), Sterling Industries/Dimond/Bailey Street (WTC, Suite 509), Troy CSL – The Littman Group (TM, Suite 3902), The Philips Collection (WTC, Suite 10010) and The Uttermost Company (WTC, Suite 10021/10051). Specials include free freight or a percentage off with minimum order, as well as Amazon and Starbucks gift cards. In addition, ART will be hosting a mini-seminar series throughout market, with each presentation lasting between 15-20 minutes. The seminars include: “Branding Basics,” Thursday, Jan. 19, 1 p.m., in the Codarus showroom (WTC, Suite 531); “Telling Your Story with Display,” Friday, Jan. 20, 10 a.m., in the In-Detail Showroom (WTC, Suite 500); “Bridal Registry,” Saturday, Jan. 21, 8:30 a.m, in the HomeStyle showroom (WTC, Suite 236); and “Lighting for Profit in Home Accents Stores,” Sunday, Jan. 22, 3:30 p.m., in the Taylors on Ten Showroom (WTC, Suite 10010).

Other ART events during the show include Student Mentoring Day, Thursday, Jan. 19, where students from UNT and the Groovy Stuff Design Challenge will meet with ART member representatives of manufacturing, retail, sales, design and market centers to discuss the state of the industry and then tour select ART member showrooms. It will begin at 9 a.m. at WTC, Suite 9065. On Friday, Jan. 20, there will be an ARTS awards pre-party and exhibit, which will feature product from the manufacturing categories sent for judging. That begins at 6 p.m. in WTC, Suite 554. And then on Saturday, Jan. 21, the 23rd annual ARTS awards gala will take place in the Hilton Anatole’s Khmer Ballroom at 6 p.m. Reservations are required.
