    Minted1Minted, which crowdsources creative content from independent artists and offers it to consumers as art, stationery and home decor, hosted its annual party for the artist community and design professionals to coincide with the National Stationery Show and International Contemporary Furniture Fair in New York last month. The event decor was inspired by Minted artist Kaydi Bishop’s gilt agate invitation, which then set the tone for other Minted party decor, textiles and wall art.

At the event, guests enjoyed dishes prepared and served by C-CAP students from nine Chicago high schools. Hosted by HIC, Harold Import Co.; Conimer Corporation; Primula; Fletchers’ Mill and R.S.V.P. International, Inc., the cocktail hour and silent auction brought together industry professionals to benefit C-CAP, a national non-profit organization that works with public schools to prepare at-risk students for college and careers in the restaurant and hospitality industry.
