The Careers Through Culinary Arts program (C-CAP) held a cocktail hour and silent auction in Chicago during the International Home + Housewares Show. At the event, guests enjoyed dishes prepared and served by C-CAP students from nine Chicago high schools. Hosted by HIC, Harold Import Co.; Conimer Corporation; Primula; Fletchers’ Mill and R.S.V.P. International, Inc., the cocktail hour and silent auction brought together industry professionals to benefit C-CAP, a national non-profit organization that works with public schools to prepare at-risk students for college and careers in the restaurant and hospitality industry.
Forty One Madison and Emerald Expositions co-hosted their annual evening reception during last month’s Ambiente fair in Frankfurt, a welcome opportunity for friends and colleagues to mingle while away from home.
The home furnishings industry came together for the 26th ARTS Awards gala this January to honor this year’s winners, who were recognized for excellence in their fields. Twenty-six awards, including a new interior designer award, were presented at the Hilton Anatole during the Dallas Total Home & Gift Market.
