NORTH PALM BEACH, Fla.–Focusing on eco-friendly products, WorldofGood.com launched a week ago, offering visitors products in such categories as home and garden, fashion and gifts, EcoFamily, EcoFood, natural beauty, green building and EcoAlternatives.
The site offers almost 1,000 products from more than 50 merchants, according to Roberta Modena, founder and partner. “We’re signing up new green merchants everyday.”
Modena, who has previously founded two eco-friendly stores in Walnut Creek, Calif., and Austin, Texas, said, “Our goal with World of Green is to provide consumers with an easy and memorable place to go for all their green needs, including beautiful, naturally designed home furnishings.”
In mid-March, it will also launch its 40 Day Countdown to Earth Day Giveaway, in celebration of Earth Day’s 40th anniversary on April 22. The site will give away a product daily starting March 14 up to Earth Day, on which it will give away a NatureMill indoor composter, a $399 value. Vendors interested in having a product given away for the countdown are welcome to visit the site and become a World of Green member.
