GREEN BAY, Wis.–John Bulgarella has been appointed divisional vice president and divisional merchandise manager for Shopko’s hard-home division.

In his new post, Bulgarella is responsible for developing, directing and executing merchandise strategies for the retailers’ consumer-electronics and furniture divisions. Information on who Bulgarella is succeeding was not immediately available.

Before joining Shopko, Bulgarella served as vice president of merchandising, marketing and store operations for InkStop, a specialty retailer of office supplies, which closed its doors last year. Prior to that, he was senior vice president of merchandising for OfficeMax.
