GREENSBORO, N.C.-Replacements.com has upgraded its Web site to make it easier for consumers to search for individual items.
The advanced search tool marks a substantial improvement in navigating Replacements’ nationally recognized online retail site, ultimately creating an exciting new shopping experience. “In the past, customers could only get search results at the pattern and manufacturer level,” Bob Page, Replacements chief executive officer. “For example, if you were looking for a gift or if you were a collector, you couldn’t get results by the individual piece. Now you can enter a basic key word as simple as ‘baby’ or ‘salt and pepper shaker’ and immediately see thousands of results”
Consumers can now search by attributes such as color, piece, manufacturer or even theme-related patterns. Results are returned by the SKU or individual piece, accompanied by a prominent image. The company has expanded the site’s image library over the past five years from 350,000 to more than 1.2 million color photographs.
