KNOXVILLE, Tenn.–In time for the upcoming holiday season, the Web site of the Food Network launched its redesign today.
Visited by more than 9 million people a month, the new Web site incorporates many of the features requested by users, such as easy-to-use navigation and meal-planning inspiration, and more ways to connect with the network’s chefs and shows.
It features video from Food Network shows as well as original video created for the site, focusing on recipe how-to, healthy eating and holiday ideas, as well as a series that goes behind the scenes of the shows at at the Food Network kitchens. Visitors with smart phones can also access recipes through its mobile feature.
“It is the one thing every single person needs to think about every day—how, what, when to eat,” said Deanna Brown, president of SN Digital, the interactive division of Scripps Networks. “FoodNetwork.com remains the leader because we put our user first and foremost in everything we do. We know that they love the bells and whistles, they love the talented personalities and the special occasion ideas, but at the end of the day they also want to put delicious food on the table that doesn’t break their back or the bank.”
