LEXINGTON, Ky.–The Tempur-Pedic board has elected Evelyn S. Dilsaver as a director, expanding the number of company directors to 11.
Dilsaver was a long-time executive at Charles Schwab Corp., serving as president and chief executive officer of Charles Schwab Investment Management from July 2004 until August 2007. She is also a member of the boards of directors of Aeropostale, Tamalpais Bancorp, HighMark Funds and Blue Shield of California. She also serves on several non-profit boards of directors.
In a Tempur-Pedic statement, P. Andrews McLane, chairman, cited Dilsaver’s career in finance, accounting and general management, along with her experience with consumer-oriented businesses.
