DALLAS–Storage and organization retailer The Container Store has launched its GoShop! Click & Pickup service for customers who want to shop online and then choose the date, time and store location to pick up their purchases.
The company hopes this enhances the customer shopping experience, as the free service is in time for the holiday season and lets the customer save on shipping expenses, among other conveniences.
“We know that customers are looking for value-driven offerings in this economic climate,” said Kip Tindell, chairman and chief executive officer. “GoShop! Click & Pickup is one more way to serve our important multichannel customer during the holiday season. The service will save our customers valuable time with guaranteed in-stock product and more importantly, save them money.”
The retailer has put resources behind the new service, including in-store signage, direct mail messaging on upcoming mailers and dedicated e-mails. The new service joins the retailer’s other GoShop! services, which include GoShop! Call & Pickup, GoShop! Scan & Deliver, and GoShop! Click & Deliver.
